Key concepts
Hot beverage: Contains a wide range of drinks made from the combination of boiling water with ingredients of medicinal plants, plant leaves and processed grains, and other additives and flavors.
Tea: Is an aromatic beverage commonly prepared by pouring hot or boiling water over cured leaves of the Camellia sinensis, an evergreen shrub native to Asia. After water, it is the most widely consumed drink in the world. The history of tea consumption in Iran is less than two centuries. Tea consumption is an integral part of the people's lives in Iran.
Coffee: Is a brewed drink prepared from roasted coffee beans, which are the seeds of berries from the Coffee plant. The native coffee is a semi-hemispherical region of Africa and some islands in southern and southeast Asia, spreading from Africa to the rest of the world and is now cultivated in more than 70 countries, primarily tropical United States, Southeast Asia, India and Africa, when they get to the fruit of the coffee plant, they harvest, process, and eventually dry the coffee beans. Dried coffee beans are roasted to varying degrees, depending on the taste and flavor desired, different grades are considered for this product, Coffee is slightly acidic and can have a stimulating effect on humans because of its caffeine content. Coffee is one of the most popular drinks in the world.
Herbal Teas: Herb teas or tisanes and fruit teas are beverages made from the fresh or dried parts of flowers, leaves, stems, roots, seeds, skin, infusion or decoction of herbs, spices, fruits, or other plant material in hot water. They do not usually contain caffeine. Consumers of herbal teas and herbal medicines should be aware of their mechanism of action. The tea industry often confusingly uses the term fruit tea to refer to what are in fact fruit-flavored black teas, not fruit teas. Herbal teas and fruit teas should not be confused with true teas (black, green, white, yellow, oolong), which are prepared from the cured leaves of the tea plant, Camellia sinensis, as well as from decaffeinated tea, in which the caffeine has been removed.
Flavors: Essential or flavoring compounds are compounds that have a pleasant flavor and are used in the production of food and beverages.
